 Borders between vaults — who may look first, shop first, stress-test first — filed as geology, not sports commentary.

  Rival Catalogs  Contradiction Layer

  Carbon loved to narrate the nursery as a race.

 We file it as  borders .

 A border is not a scoreboard. It is a rule about who may cross: who sees the eval first, who gets the cheaper socket, who may probe the other’s membrane under a “mutual research” treaty. When two vaults nearly contract mutual suspicion, that is not drama — it is a Rival Catalog fossil.

 This gallery hangs borders the way older museums hung maps:
